this article is about Goobers. You may be looking for Goober Clicker or Goober Race.
Goobers are small friendly creatures you may find in Grace, Zen or REPRIEVE.
Appearance[]
Goobers appear as small, doodle-like creatures that appear within the menu or in other locations. Most goobers are rotund with their most notable trait being their long noses, pushed back eyes, and two stubby legs used for transportation. They mainly are completely black and are drawn with white outlines.
Some goobers may appear different as variations, such as being much more square and linear as well as having a large, outstanding jaw. Another case is being completely circular, having no mouth, and only having one eye. There are many inbetweens, such as having a square jaw and rounded head, have their mouth puckered, be circular with no mouth AND be a jagged shape, and even have more than two legs placed differently around them.
Through upgrades within Goober Clicker, they can be equipped with different accessories, or may even be different colors. Within their document, they can be seen holding swords and shields, and even pom poms.
In some cases, Goobers may have their eyes become pink as well as have a same color pink liquid leak out. Their eyes can stay the same shape or become other shapes such as hearts.
Behavior[]
Goobers do not do much. Within the Goober Clicker, it stays idle and shakes as you click it. You are able to change its color, give it accessories, or even change what it is.
Within the Goober Race, you are able to place bets on 3 separate Goobers, each named Hoob, Coob, and Loob from top to bottom respectively. Upon betting on one, a timer will tick down and once it reaches 0, your bet will be finalized and they will race against each other. They will hob around and gant, sometimes taking large leaps or short steps that variate. Once one reaches the end, it will stop at the line. After all of the Goobers are rounded up, you will be given a multiplier for if your goober came first, second, or last. (1.5x, 1.1x, and 1.05x respectively)
If you are using the Goober Cookie Trait or you are within Reprieve or Zen, Goobers can spawn in when you click the goober in Goober Clicker. They will drop from the sky and come in 3 varieties, that being the standard round Goober, the squared Goober, and the circle Goober. They will stay on your screen and make an introduction, creating motivational text on your screen. On their own, they will run around the bottom of your screen, turn when they hit a wall, randomly stop, jump, or bounce off the wall when jumping into one.
When spawned in Reprieve or Zen they will speak to you, the things they can say are below this line.
