The Retro Mode is a special game mode available from April 1 to April 6. It's added in the game in the Fruits of March update as an April Fools mode. This mode can be found in the elevators on top of the normal ones and next to the modifiers with the red label "RETRO MODE" and the elevators with an old Roblox style or also known as "Retro", it can also be activated in a modifier round with its modifier "the undead comign".
Description[]
In this mode, apart from the common entities and modifiers, there are 2 new entities: Zomber and the EPIK DUCK, for the EPIK DUCK you need to activate it with its modifier "TEH EPIK DUCK IS COMING". The rooms will also change to retro style but not the entities. A Health bar and a "Unregistered GraceCam 1337" watermark will appear at the top left corner. When entering, you will be given a Zomber note and a Pistol. The overall gameplay doesn't change much.
Trivia[]
- This gamemode adds the boombox to the saferoom.
- When the boombox's green button is clicked/tapped on, it makes the saferoom rainbow and plays Caramelldansen by the Caramella Girls. This is a reference to boomboxes, the same kind that appear in Grace's retro mode, showing up in multiple retro roblox games in the early 2000s, playing Caramelldansen and other similar electronic songs that were popular in the early 2000s as well. When you press the red button the music and lights stop.
- This mode is similar to DOORS' "Retro Mode", which is also added in April Fools.
- Tar in this mode can't kill you or the Zomber's, but make your speed slower.
- This has become a modifier called " the undead comign" and it gives 1.337% XP.
