It's lens reverse polarity, creating light from darkness.
It does require some moving around to keep it charged though, but you can hold other items without taking your vision out as it stays on your head.
Doesn't mean you're free from it.
It reverses the dark and turns it into light and shows you the way, just like He does, and it is his gift to you.
The S.H.A.K.E. (Full name SIGHT. HEIGHTENING. APPARATUS OF. KINETIC. ENERGY., also written as SHAKE) is an item in Grace. They can be purchased in the Shop for
4000.
Usage[]
When the user puts the goggles on, the player will be flashed with a bright light and their surroundings will be brightened up. A battery icon is displayed on the top of the screen. Overtime, the battery starts to drain. As the battery drains, the screen will slowly lose its brightness and starts to darken till the users screen goes dark. In order for this item to recharge, the user must shake their camera in any sort of motion in order to regenerate battery (hence the name 'S.H.A.K.E'). The user can also equip items whilst having their goggles equipped.
The goggles grant night vision in the dark with a very saturated green color where light is present and a crimson red color where darkness is present. The lights will be rainbow colors underwater. Whilst equipped in a saferoom and the door opens, the scribbles all over the wall will turn into a vibrant red color. Other S.H.A.K.E skins also have different color filters, such as brightening everything to be yellow instead of green.
Kookoo[]
As said in the item description in the lobby shop, this item DOES NOT protect you against Kookoo. Instead, if the user is wearing the goggle whilst Kookoo's clock timer hits, Kookoo will damage the goggles and a text will appear on screen for a very brief moment saying, "KNOW TOO MUCH, DO TOO MUCH, FORGETTING HIM TOO MUCH". Kookoo will then attempt to attack immediately after but counting twice as fast.
Damaged goggles are able to be worn and noticeable blue cracks are found at the sides of the screen. Damaged goggles still give night vision but will occasionaly flicker on and off. Wearing damaged goggles whilst Kookoo's clock timer is up will result in the user's death. Damaged goggles will passively repair after 1 minute.
Trivia[]
- The S.H.A.K.E. has actually existed last year but in a very early and primitive state with no animations and the vision is still very dark.
- You cannot counter Slight or Heed with the S.H.A.K.E.
