Kill a zomber!!!!!!!!
-haa fresh meat

Zombers (Also known just as the undead in general[1]) are an exclusive entity to the RETRO event. However they can be enabled in a regular game by their modifier "the undead comign".

Appearance[]

Zombers appears as a regular robloxian, though with a few minor differences. Zombers have a rectangular head as well as the common mint green head and arms, as well as brown torso and legs to mimic worn out clothes from an infected person with their legs being abnormally small, which causes them to awkwardly shamble. They will spawn with large eyes and a mouth full of sharp teeth, and their face has the glue surface texture, creating two lines near the top of its head.

If a Zomber is killed via the pistol, it will turn pitch black instead of its green/brown colors and will have their eyes crossed out with red X's.

Behaviour[]

A Zomber will spawn every 2 doors, with 1 spawning in a normal room, and a horde of 3-5 spawning in a breaker room. They will chase players closest to them and begin dealing damage to said player (~1/8th of a players health). Once a Zomber has completely drained all of a player's health, they will instantly die. Zombers run at various speeds, best seen with multiples of them.[2]

To kill Zombers, players must use the pistol in their toolbar and begin to shoot them. The pistol will immediately kill the Zomber with one shot if aimed correctly. Alternatively, they can also run past or jump over them, which is viable though may become troublesome if they are in hordes.

Trivia[]

  • Zombers can still kill players even if they are in godmode, making one of the few entities to be able to do so alongside Litany.
  • Zombers can be killed by entities such as Carnation or Slugfish.
  • Zombers have collision on, because of this, they can push players into a corner and munch on them until the victim(s) die, this is much more likely to happen if the "marketable" modifier has been enabled once.
  • Zomber have no pathfinding and simply run at players, meaning that they can just get stuck in front of a wall if they manage to put one between the players and them.
  • Zombers will stop moving completely after the player goes through 2-4 rooms.
    • When this happens, the walking animation will still play, but the Zomber will be frozen in place
  • The phrase "haa fresh meat" originates from the character The Butcher in the game Diablo, who says it as he attacks players.
  • The Zomber's SFX (see the idle sfx) is randomly pitched. This goes for the Zomber note as well.
